NSS IntrusionGuard Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
NSS IntrusionGuard is an anti-theft security utility provided by Net Solution Services. This policy explains what data the app may collect, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.
Information the app may collect
When enabled by the user, the app may collect or process the following information for anti-theft alert functionality:
- Licensed email address used for license activation.
- Alert destination email address configured by the user.
- Device information such as device model and device identifier for license control and abuse prevention.
- Security event time and failed unlock event information.
- Device location, when location permission is granted.
- Front camera snapshot after a security trigger or user test action, when camera permission is granted.
How information is used
The information is used to activate licenses, process anti-theft security alerts, send alert emails to the configured recipient, troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Alert data may be shared only as needed to deliver the alert email, operate the license system, maintain the service, comply with law, or protect against abuse.
Data retention
Alert emails are delivered to the destination email account selected by the user. Net Solution Services may keep limited server logs, license records, and extension request records for security, troubleshooting, and license management. These records are kept only as long as needed for the service, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
User controls
Users can disable protection by removing Device Administrator permission, revoking camera or location permissions, changing the alert destination email, or uninstalling the app.
Data deletion requests
Users may request deletion of license email records, device records, extension request records, and alert-related server records where legally and technically possible.
To request deletion, email info@netsolution.uk with the subject line IntrusionGuard Data Deletion Request. Include the license email address used in the app so we can identify the relevant records. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time.
Security
The app uses Android device permissions and encrypted local storage for configuration where available. Server-side license and email functions use access controls, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
NSS IntrusionGuard is intended for adults who own or are authorized to manage the device where it is installed. It is not directed to children.
